Introducing two talented bands joining the Rockhyttan stage for the first time Causeries & PITTMAN COLE!
First time to the Rockhyttan stage, we are proud to present Pittman Cole, a group of experienced musicians who play an eclectic set of music, with styles ranging between classic 70´s-90´s rock, hard rock and progressive rock/metal. Think of Deep purple crossed with Oasis, Toto and Queensryche.
Causeries låter lika delar Manchester, Göteborg och New York. Det ofödda kärleksbarnet mellan Joy Division, Interpol och Broder Daniel. Bland andra influenser kan nämnas tidiga Bloc Party, The Cure och svenska popgiganterna Kent – vilkas ständige producent, Stefan Bohman, på tidigare släpp även agerat producent åt Causeries. Soundet är atmosfäriskt och nervigt, post-punkigt och dystopiskt där sparsmakad elektronik samsas med reverbdränkta gitarrer och pulserande trumbeat.
